Daredevil: Born Again

The long awaited sequel series to Netflix’s Daredevil was released on March 4th, 2025, named after the very popular comic series Daredevil: Born Again. Many fans were excited to see this new series as the original is deemed as one of the best superhero shows of all time.

The actors seem very excited and sentimental with these characters. “All of that stuff is so exciting to hear because Charlie and I have worked on these characters for a long time. We worked really hard, we both felt like the Netflix show was an extraordinary experience for us, and that everybody on that team, from the writers, to the crews, to everybody, to all the actors, really just did their best to make that show, the Netflix show, as good as we can. And we’ve, Charlie and I, have always wanted another stab at it since they took it away from us, and we finally got it and it was quite exciting,” said Vincent D’ONofrio, the actor for Kingpin. The actors weren’t the only ones excited for the series to come back, but also the fans. The show got an 83% on Rotten Tomatoes for the first 2 episodes. “It is exactly what fans have been wanting and it is well worth the wait,” commented Tessa Smith from Mama’s Geeky.

Although the series has had its praise, there are plenty who are skeptical about the show due to Disney’s previous attempts at Marvel shows. The feelings are quite mixed online although a majority of it is good, there are still comments on how it isn’t as good as its previous iteration.

But with season 2 already in production and Daredevil’s constant appearances in the MCU since Spider-Man: No Way Home, it is safe to say that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is going to be around for a long time no matter how the fans feel about his return to the character in Daredevil: Born Again.
