Netflix Makes Deal with Nickelodeon After Disney Plus Comes Out

BY DYLAN GREENWELL

After the launch of Disney Plus on November 12th and their announcement that 10 million people had signed up for it, Netflix responded by making a deal with Nickelodeon. The deal is reportedly worth $200 million. It will include a new Spongebob spinoff and spin offs of other Nickelodeon shows. Many people have mixed reactions; some think they’re trying too hard to do what Disney Plus has already achieved while others are excited to get some new shows on Netflix. Netflix has already added the fan favorite Victorious to its streaming service, but says they don’t plan on adding an other shows that already exist. Even though we won’t be getting new shows, you can look forward to spinoffs of your favorite characters from your favorite shows.
