The long awaited ‘Eternal Atake’ was finally released in a regular and deluxe version. This is Lil Uzis’6th album total and his first album in 3 years. This was a heavily teased album with many different versions and a “cult” following from his fans.
Lil Uzi first teased the album with a tweet that said “Eternal Atake”. Uzi also has a history of his music being leaked. The songs that were supposed to be on eternal atake were leaked, Causing the album to be delayed. He also had some trouble with his record label, stating that they were the reason that the album was taking so long.
Uzi released 2 singles to be put on the original version of eternal atake. One is ‘That Way’, which is a remix of the Backstreet Boys’ ‘I want it that way’, and Futsal shuffle. The first version of the album was released March 6th and had 18 songs including the 2 singles that were included as bonus tracks. This version had only one feature on the song ‘Urgency’ featuring Internet and former Odd Future member Syd.
Some fans were underwhelmed with the ‘Eternal Atake’ tracklist, and wanted some of the already leaked songs to make it onto the album. Shortly after the album was released, Uzi hinted toward a deluxe version of the album coming out the following Friday. This version included features from Lil Durk, Young Thug, Nav, Chief keef, Young Nudy, Future, and 21 Savage.
This deluxe version is part 2 of his 2016 album ‘Lil Uzi Vs The World’. It has mostly leaked songs that fans missed on the original version.
