Bruno Mars Finally Plans To Release New Music

After two years of not releasing music, pop star Bruno Mars finally announced that new music is being released. He said he was going to release a new song and album with the artist Anderson Paak. The two stars teamed together to create a band entitled “Silk Sonic.”

Mars shares the news on instagram stating “We locked in and made an album. The band’s called Silk Sonic. First song drops next Friday ⅗.” Paak also made a social media post regarding the project stating “WE MADE AN ALBUM!! YALL GET THE FIRST SONG NEXT FRIDAY 3/5!! ROCKET EMOJIS AND ALL THAT!!!”

At 12 A.M. EST, the song along with a music video dropped on all platforms. “Leave the Door Open” is a feel-good and funky R&B hit that makes you want to dance and sing your heart out.  Fans went wild and began to praise the song all over social media. 

 On the comments of the music video, an anonymous fan comments “Best song I’ve heard in forever. Bruno never disappoints. This collab is amazing I can’t wait to hear more.” Another commenter said, “This song is a breath of fresh air. So much 70’s soul. I love it.” The video currently has 23M views, but continues to go up as fans are non stop listening! It also held the #2 trending spot on Youtube on the day of its release. 

It is unknown when the full album will be released, but with the popularity of this first song, the whole album should expect loads of success. Fans are incredibly excited to finally hear Mars again, as well as Paak. A fan in the comments states, “I literally can’t think of a better duo to make a classic album together.”
