World renowned rock star, Elton John, has announced a new album: The Lockdown Sessions. The album features multiple different collaborations from the past year and a half, between him and a multitude of other artists.
Said collaborations on the album include Dua Lipa, Lil Nas X, Miley Cyrus, and Stevie Nicks. The album acts as a sort of compilation of songs that have either already been released, are going to be released on other albums from collaborators, or have never been heard before. This includes “One of Me”, which will also be on Lil Nas X’s debut album Montero, as well as “I’m Not Gonna Miss You”, with the late Glen Campbell.
On top of announcing the new album, Elton also announced that he would resume touring in January of 2022. He’ll be completing his farewell tour, after the pandemic had put it on hold, along with most other live acts from the past year and a half.
