While the Golden State Warriors are doing just fine so far sitting as the best team in the league at the moment, their missing piece; number 11, is said to return very soon.
Back in 2020, Klay Thompson experienced an injury due to an offseason workout in which he tore his achilles. The 31 year old player also underwent surgery to repair his injury.

The player is set to return in the next few weeks after missing an entire season. According to an article by SLAM, he’s in “great shape and close to playing 5-on-5 in practice, which is paramount to him being cleared.”

Klay had a previous career average of 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Klay also had a shooting percentage of 45.9% from the field and 41.9% from the three-point range.
ESPN’s reporter, Adrian Wojnarowski says, “I’m told if he continues on his current course right now in rehab, that a targeted date for his return will be set probably within the next couple weeks.”

More reports are saying that Klay could return in any games prior to the big Christmas game but Christmas is the goal for the player’s return.
The Warriors community is counting on their hope and confidence for a return very soon.
