Iconic Spirit Halloween Store Drops New Movie

Spirit Halloween is an iconic Halloween store, well known for renting out dying malls and warehouses every year at the end of the summer. It’s everyone’s go to one-stop shop for Halloween costumes, props, and other spooky decor. Now, they’re bringing themselves to the streaming world. 

On October 11th, Spirit Halloween: The Movie, will be ready to stream. The story takes on a stylistic look similar to The Goonies, Gremlins, Goosebumps, and Hocus Pocus

In the movie, according to IMDb, when a Halloween store opens in a deserted strip-mall, three friends who think they’ve outgrown trick or treating decide to spend their Halloween night locked inside after hours. Their night of spooky fun turns into a fight for survival as things quickly go south. 

Spirit Halloween: The movie has quite the cast. Christopher Lloyd, from the Back to the Future franchise, is playing Alex Windsor; the greedy land baron who’s ghost returns to torment the town he disappeared in. Rachael Leigh Cook plays Sue, Jake’s mother; while Donovan Colan is playing Jake himself, the ringleader of the group of friends. Dylan Martin Frankel, from Raven’s Home, is playing Carson; one of the friends who get trapped in the Spirit Halloween store. Jaiden J. Smith will play Bo, Carson and Jack’s friend, and Marrisa Reyes will be playing Carson’s older sister Kate. Finally, Marla Gibbs, who was recently seen in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, will be playing the role of Grandma G. This movie is also the Feature film directorial debut of David Poag. 

Spirit Halloween: The Movie, is certain to be a lovely family watch for the Halloween season. So, keep your eyes peeled for the movie to be released September 30, 2022, and be sure to give it a watch!
