Sunday night, the San Francisco 49ers destroyed the Dallas Cowboys in a 42-10 fashion. This game was really hyped up to be one of the best games of the year, but that turned out really wrong. The number one Dallas defense played against the number two offense in the league and got absolutely steam rolled. Throughout the game, nothing went right for Dallas while the 49ers advanced to a 5-0 record being one of the only undefeated teams in the league right now.
For the 49ers offense, Brock Purdy silenced all the Dallas fans and many others throwing for 252 yards with four touchdown passes. While Christian McCaffery ran for only 51 yards, but scored a touchdown. The MVP for the 49ers offense came from the people’s tight end, George Kittle where he scored three touchdowns with only three targets thrown to him. On the defensive side of the ball, the 49ers intercepted Dak Prescott three times in the game while sacking him four times that game. This 49ers team looks too good and way better when they went to the Super Bowl in 2019.
The Dallas Cowboys on the other hand couldn’t do anything against niners being held to only 57 rushing yards and only thrown for 197 yards. Remind you, the Cowboys team was dropping 30 points a game and only allowing ten points. Now the big question, for the Cowboys, are they still a super bowl contender? For the 49ers, can they keep up this performance to finally go to the promised land? We will see with many games to come, but the 49ers play the Cleveland Browns next Sunday, while Dallas plays the LA Chargers.
