The Top 10 Best Papa’s Games

By Scarlett Tarango

Everybody knows and loves the Papa Louie games. They’ve always been there for us throughout the years and are an iconic staple of our childhoods, but what’s the best Papa’s game? Here’s a ranking of the top 10 based on popularity, playability, and overall enjoyment.

10, Burgeria. While this game is fairly simple, it’s a classic as it was the second game ever released. This game is a bit special as it’s the only Papa’s game where you’re able to play as the Papa Louie. This one makes a good beginner game.

9, Pizzeria. The game that started it all. For the first game, it’s great. The mechanics are fairly simple but still have some challenge with having to bake each customer’s pizza at a different time. Good but it just doesn’t hold up to some of the later sequels. It’s clear that the series has improved a lot since this one.

8, Cupcakeria. This one is pretty fun and more creative with all the ways you can decorate your cupcakes. It isn’t ranked higher because some of the controls are ridiculously difficult and not in a fun way. Putting the frosting on is so annoying.

7, Scooperia. This is one of the more recent ones and it’s pretty fun. A lot of the mechanics are fun like the scooping of the ice cream and the cookie dough.

6, Wingeria. This game is a bit of a fan favorite. It’s set in a fun and exciting night of a city that looks like Las Vegas. The one thing that’s holding this game back is its complicated game mechanics. There’s way too many steps in making the wings which makes the game a lot harder and more frustrating than the others.

5, Bakeria. Not much to say about this one besides that it’s really good. The gameplay is pretty easy and fun, just not exciting enough to be higher on the list.

4, Pancakeria. This one is set in a cabin-like diner on a hillside. It’s really fun to play because the gameplay is fairly easy and decorating the pancakes is so fun. This one also gets a bonus for the cute little dog or cat depending on who you play as.

3, Susheria. This game has a perfect balance between complexity and fun. There’s so many moving parts in this game that make it challenging but not in a way that it’s unplayable. There’s a lot of extra steps that aren’t usually included that make this one really unique.

2, Hot Doggeria. This game has the most unique and fun location out of all the games. You get to serve people at a live baseball game. The gameplay doesn’t get too easy because you also have to worry about popcorn and soda. A fan favorite and for good reason.

1, Freezeria. The most popular game by far, and for good reason. You get to be on a tropical island making all kinds of ice cream. The mechanics are fun and fairly easy but the game still gets harder as you progress. Doing the toppings is just so fun. This is also one of the few Papa’s games to get a deluxe version with all kinds of new achievements and upgrades to unlock. Truly a classic game.

And there you have it, the top 10 best Papa’s games. If you’ve never played some of these, be sure to check them out and enjoy.
