Popular Japanese artist Ado’s newest single Suki de Ite released on September 7th, 2026, and is a special insert song for a Japanese love show called Kyou, Suki ni Narimashita (Today, I fell in Love). However, the song is somewhat an anomaly when you look at the artist Ado’s other songs. The tone of the song is completely different from the usual more rock style with loud screaming and varying vocal range. Suki de Ite is completely different with a more slow style, certainly befitting its place in a romance show. The vocal range stays steady throughout the entire song as a slow soft feeling, almost like a whisper.
The general opinion by music content creators on youtube is that Suki de Ite is an incredible song that shows how talented Ado is. Her vocals and lyrics are incredible and even without subtitles or understanding the language, you can feel the emotions of the song.
The opinion of the non content creator fans is also positive. Many find the song to invoke strong emotions and the lyrics relate to many fans. However, some fans don’t care much for it, only saying it’s good but not mind blowing compared to other songs.
It seems that while many love the song, there’s also a group that find the song to simply be alright, but I have not seen any opinions stating the song is bad or anything below a 5-6/10.
