The 2015 world series has come and gone extremely fast. At least it seems that way with Kansas City winning four games out of five. The Kansas City Royals and the New York Mets were this year’s competitors for the World Series.
Game one was a bit of a close one with the Royals winning 5-4 at home, but game two was the first hint of Kansas City winning the series fast with a 7-1 win also at home. But with the change of fields, the New York Mets came to play now that they were home and playing in front of their fans. They picked up a 9-3 victory, however, this would be the only win the Mets would get. The Royals would follow with two final wins with scores of 5-3 and 7-2.
This was no ordinary World Series for the Royals either. The Royals won their first World Series since 1985. This was also a story of redemption for losing the 2014 World Series to San Francisco 4 games to 3.
