The next iteration of the Star Wars: Battlefront first person shooter series was revealed at a panel during Star Wars Celebration on April 15. Star Wars Battlefront 2 expands upon the original game, which many thought lacked content, in many ways. For example, the game will feature re worked mechanics including a class system and a new way to unlock Heroes. It will also add content from the Prequel and Sequel trilogies, which the original game lacked. Alongside these new additions is a single-player campaign told through the eyes of an Imperial Special Forces soldier who’s out for revenge on the Rebellion after the destruction of the second Death Star. The game is slated to release on November 17, but expect more information about the game to come out during E3.
