The Yemeni government will participate in UN peace talks in Sweden.
The civil war in Yemen has dragged on for three years. 60,000 people have been killed and 18 million face starvation. The UN is calling the worst famine in over 100 years. Despite the violence the warring factions have reached a cease fire. The rebel houthis has agreed to stop firing missiles into Saudi Arabia and have also stopped fighting at a key port. The government and rebels will also attend UN peace talks in Sweden.
Although the yemeni government and the houthis are close to ending the war the Saudis wish to continue the war. The crown price threw a fit when he hear the war was close to peace. The Saudis with to continue the war until the Houthis are totally defeated.
