On Wednesday, November 26, an unnamed woman in a British supermarket went crazy and smashed over 500 bottles of alcohol. According to witness Lee Clark, the woman stayed silent while she was dragging the bottles off of the shelves. The damages done totaled over $130,00.
“It was extraordinary, I’ve never seen anything like that before in my life. She didn’t say a word the whole time and had a very vacant look in her face. A man told her to calm down so she threw a bottle of gin which hit him in the leg,” he said.
The Toronto Sun states that, “The five-minute rampage came to an end when a security guard grabbed her and took her outside.” While smashing the bottles, the woman slipped and cut her hand, so she was taken to the hospital to get treated before being put in custody for her incredibly dangerous actions.
