Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to form a coalition government Tuesday which puts his political future at stake. In the recent Isreali elections his conservative party failed to meet expectations. Winning a smaller plurality of the vote. Since the elections he has been in talks with fellow centre party leaders in the hopes of forming a coalition government to run the nation.
Israel is in a state of turmoil. A national day of mourning was declared for the victims of a stampede that occurred during a Jewish religious festival. And last week several Palestinians were killed after attempting to open fire on Isralie civilians.
With so much at stake Netanyahu has a lot on his plate. With his failure to meet the deadline given to him by the acting President his future and the future of the Isralie people hangs in the balance.
