49ers Lose Their Chance In This Year’s Superbowl

Last Sunday’s game was a heartbreaking defeat for the Niners. They got really far this year and were sadly stopped by the Rams, after beating them by three points this month on the ninth. Jimmy Garopolo did his best and threw some game changing throws but it went south. 

During the first quarter both teams had great defense and kept battling with zeros on the board. Then during the second quarter The Niners gained the lead with ten points on the board. Touchdown point conversion and a field goal. The Rams got a touchdown and a point conversion. Third quarter, the Niners got another touchdown and a point conversion making it seventeen. The Rams didn’t score any points in the third quarter. Then it was the last quarter of the game to see who makes it to the super bowl. The Niners didn’t score any points, and the Rams out of nowhere got thirteen points and finished the game. Ending scores being 17, 49ers, and 20, Rams. 

 The injury report for both teams had a total of fifteen.

San Francisco 49ers:

Nick Bosa positioned the defensive line. His injury is unknown and his game status is clear. Alex Mack positioned center, his injury is unknown and his game status is clear. Elijah Mitchell position, running back injury is at his knee his game status is unknown. Trent Williams’ position, tackle has an ankle injury and his game status is questionable. Jeff Wilson Jr. position running back, ankle injury and his status is questionable. Ambry Thomas, the cornerback, has a knee injury and his status is unknown. Jimmy Garoppolo, the quarterback, has a right thumb injury and his game status is unknown.

Los Angeles Rams:

Joe Noteboom, position offensive lineman, has a chest injury and his status is doubtful. Greg Gaines, position defensive line, has a toe injury and his game status is unknown. Van Jefferson is a wide receiver, has a knee injury and has questionable game status. Buddy Howell plays running back and has a hamstring injury, his game status is questionable. Taylor Rapp, safety, received a concussion and has questionable status. Andrew Whitworth, defensive line, he has a knee injury and his status is unknown. John Wolford, quarterback, has an illness and his game status is unknown. Cam Akers the running back and is on rest (Injured reserve list).

Team stats, LA had over hundred and fourteen yards over the Niners, total yards of six hundred and seventy-eight. Niners passing yards were two hundred and thirty-two and the Rams three hundred and twenty-six. Niners fifty rushing and seventy for the Rams. Niners had five point six yards per play while the Rams had five point two. Sixteen first downs for the Niners and twenty-five for the Rams. Total number of plays are hundred and twenty-six. The Rams allowed two sacks from the Niners. Niners punted the ball five times and Rams one. Both teams threw an interception, time of possession Niners 24:21, Rams 35:39.
