Valentines Day, a wonderful day of capitalism and love…or loneliness. You’re lonely, otherwise you’d be out with your mans or your girl or whatever and you wouldn’t be reading a student’s article about why you’re lonely. Here are a few ideas of things to do for you lonely sad people.
- Buy Your own Gifts
Valentine’s Day is centered around buying gifts for your partner, since you don’t have a partner, buy them yourself. There’s no problem with it, every lonely person like you does.
- Get other Lonely People to Hang Out with You
You’re not the only lonely person out there, find other people who are lonely and have no plans and make plans with them instead of sobbing in your armchair while watching “The Notebook.” You know you have nothing better to do.
- Heckle
Spite is a great way to cope with your anger, so why not heckle couples you see out? Simple comments will do, make sure they’re loud and that you annunciate so that they know exactly what you’re saying. You’ll get tons of laughs as well!
- Cry
You’re already lonely. Embrace it.
- Go to the Beach
It’s cold outside. It is winter technically, why would you do that? “Oh it’s romantic and I’m lonely” you pointed out you’re lonely, what is romantic about it if you know you’re lonely? Also, you will get sick and that isn’t very Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) approved of you.
Enjoy whatever you do on your day of not love, it’s clearly not going to be hanging out with your partner. Or being CDC approved apparently if you’re going to the beach.
