After almost 10 years of the release of the world-known Disney kids movie, Zootopia, Disney came out with the sequel: Zootopia 2.
Daniel Baptista from The Movie Podcast said, “Jared Bush, Byron Howard, and the Disney Animation team have delivered a wildly smart and outstanding sequel that’s well worth the wait.” By hearing the uplifting quote from Baptista, the best should be expected for the production of Zootopia 2. Let’s dive in and do a review over the entire movie.
In the trailer of the movie posted by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ YouTube channel shows the two protagonists, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde still in the police officer business. The trailer showcases their chaotic yet heartwarming relationship.
The trailer showcases new friends that they’ll meet along the way of their new journey, and the friends that they ought to protect on this new journey. Judy Hopps, even against all odds, is going to help the reptile community– specifically snakes, get the justice they deserve.
Judy Hopps has always been a true hero. Always having a courageous spirit and a kind heart, leaping at the opportunity to help others. But the real question is Nick Wilde, someone with a tough childhood able to match her heroness and be the perfect partner?
Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps encounter a snake named Gary at a fancy party stealing a journal that belongs to the Lynx family, that’s when the real journey begins.
Zootopia, a place where animals of all kinds are supposed to belong, has a hidden secret. Reptiles, especially snakes, are not welcome because they are not mammals. There hadn’t been a snake in Zootopia in 100 years– of course until Gary showed up.
With the help of Pawbert, a member of the Lynx family itself, the dark secrets behind the start of Zootopia begin to come to light.
But the closer Judy Hopps gets to Pawbert, the more she starts to drift away from Nick Wilde. Entirely to the point where Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps get separated due to the two not being able to see eye to eye and come into agreement on what to do. This resurfaces the same question– is Nick Wilde a good fit as a partner for Judy Hopps, someone with such a heroic heart?
The movie has gotten high praise from people all around. Katie Walsh from Tribune News Services says, “With all the charm and wit of the original, “Zootopia 2” manages to deliver what we loved about the first film — and more, and that’s the true holiday miracle.”
This holiday miracle movie Zootopia 2 is filled with lots of plot twists, arguments, comedic scenes, and words spoken truly from the heart. Watch the movie now in theaters to see this incredible movie.
