May-August Events In Benicia 2026

     With summer break coming up, students will have more free time for fun activities. So let’s go over the events going on in Benicia for May-August! 

     The Benicia Public Library has been recently promoting some free activities that teens are welcome to attend. On May 15, they will be hosting Resume & Career Counseling services from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Anyone is welcome to attend and get help with anything career related.

     On May 16, also at the Library there will be a Cuddle Club from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. They will bring in dogs from animal shelters looking for a loving home. Anyone can come in for free and meet these dogs if they are considering adopting a pet. 

     Happy Life Pottery, located on First Street, will be doing 3 Sunday afternoon pottery projects. May 17 will be ‘Make your own teapot’ from 11:00am to 2:00pm. May 24 will be ‘Make your own flower face pot’ from 11:00am to 2:00pm, and on that same day will be ‘Make your own gnome’ from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. The price is $62 to attend each, and all materials will be included in the payment. Any age is welcome to attend

     Benicia’s Clock Tower will be doing 2 instrumental concerts. The first one is ‘Great Music Belongs To Everyone’ on May 24 from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, which will be performed by an orchestra with a $55 admission fee. The next one is ‘Jazz O’ Clock’ On June 1, 6:00pm to 8:30pm with a $34 admission fee for adults, a $24 admission fee for Seniors, and Free for kids. 

     As far as Main Street, June 6 is the Benicia Arts Festival from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Admission is free for anyone, and there will be art galleries and history to explore, free trolley rides, and live music/performances. 

     July 3 at 6:30pm will be the annual torchlight parade in celebration of U.S. independence day (also known as The Fourth of July Parade) with free admission. July 25 & 26 from 11:00am to 6:00pm will be the waterfront weekend festival. There will be music, dancing, local vendors, and carnival fun. The admission price is $25 per day, or $40 for both days. 

     The last event will be on August 8 from 8:00am to 5:00pm which is the peddlers fair all across main street. There will be food, crafts, and antiques all being sold.
