In early March of the 25-26 school year, an outbreak of a virus with the name “Senioritis” occurred. Senioritis is one of the most deadly viruses that happens when a senior starts to lack motivation to do their work.
The virus starts with early symptoms of not wanting to do homework. It can then turn into missing an assignment, or not studying for a test. After this, failing is the only outcome.
Once this happens, there is no going back. The Academy of science informs us, “You officially stop doing all assignments and all of your grades drop, until you have all F’s. This virus does not just affect your grades and schoolwork, but this will also affect how your future will be when you grow up.” This brings us to attention to be aware and keep your distance.
Senioritis sticks with you forever once you get it so here are a few ways to prevent that from happening.
First, you need to be aware of your surroundings and make sure to check your friends’ grades and make sure they are not failing any classes. Even if they only have one F, don’t risk it. Stay away from them as much as possible.
Next, as soon as you go home, do your homework and do NOT slack off. Study 24/7 for anything you have like tests, quizzes, homework, finals, etc…
Lastly, make sure you set goals and maintain a strict study routine. Peter Black, a senior whose friends got infected with Senioritis says, “Yes, all my friends got the virus, I can’t be close with them or talk to them ever again. It makes me very sad and I don’t wish this upon anyone.” Now, Peter Black has no more friends making the outcome to this virus a lonely unbearable cause.
Missing school isn’t the option, so make sure you follow these steps carefully and mindfully. I hope you can make it out without catching this awful virus creating a bright future ahead.
